the name does not matter but if you have a good working VM just clone it now if you have not done so in the last seven days
This is the basic back up procedure
it takes a lot of HD so I delete the old cloned VMs too
Things happen all the time - Win XP sp2 updated
just had the old Norton 2005 throwing errors so switched to AVG free ante virus
AOL dialler messed up my VM network so all of AOL 9 had to be totally uninstalled
and downloaded again
All my critical data is in shared folders or on the web so that was not cloned
Windows needs good housekeeping to survive
