did you contact tech support previous time when you had this issue? In most cases If coherence doesn't work - so other third party driver is in conflict with parallels video driver. Please examine your software, installed in Windows VM
yes, see further up in the thread. There was no response. From what I can tell, the driver setup appears to be fine, there are no double video adapters listed in Win7's device manager. The issue is nearly 100% reproducible when I put the VM into stand-by, shutdown/restart the host and then resume the VM. Win 7 Ultimate/x64 running on SL 10.6.8. Video is set to 256MB, 3D accel & vertical sync are off Coherence uses CrystalMode and Aero is disabled Startup View is set to "same as last time" There are log entries attached in this thread for both P6 and P7
I can't see anything about your contacts with tech support. Forum is not an official support channel - you need to submit support ticket at www.parallel.com/support/ to get prompt help in place - almost in each case when Coherence does not work there is a need to check local configuration
I just spent 30minutes in phone support. The operator confirmed the problem and said to have forwarded it to 2nd level support. Apparently they were able to reproduce it. Thanks for the hint. I hope this will be resolved soon.
