Coherence mode / Remote Desktop full screen keeps failing

I'm running Parallels for Mac 8 running Windows 7 Professional. I'm on a Mac OSX Lion system (mac mini with a samsung 23" monitor).

Everything runs fine in coherence mode until I remote desktop into any of our servers. When I want to view the remote desktop in full screen (clicking the maximize icon), it enters full screen mode, then promptly exits. This worked fine in Parallels 7 and the Mac Snowleopard OS.... I really find it annoying to have scroll bars top and to the right to work in the server desktop.

One thing I have observed is that it seems to not be able to get past the top menu bar up top on the Mac desktop.

Any suggestions?

Hi,

I have same problem when using Remote Desktop in fullscreen on my Mountain Lion with Parallels 8 and Windows 8. Did you find a solution?

Hi,
you need to switch off the following function: "Allow apps to auto switch to full screen" in the coherence menu.
Had the same issue with PD8. Now I have a different one with PD9 with fullscreen :-/
