Combine "toolbar" and "status bar" into one

A few minor requests regarding the toolbar:

  • Please consider adding the toolbar buttons (power on, suspend, shut down, full screen) as mini-buttons on the status bar. The status bar mini-icons are more attractively designed anyway.
  • Please allow showing the status bar without the toolbar, or vice-versa.
  • Please add key shortcuts for these commands so they can be easily used when the toolbar isn't shown.

In a nutshell, I'd like a slim status bar only, without a toolbar somewhere else in the window. Preferably, I'd like to retain convenient access to the functions of the old toolbar, but my main goal is to keep the status indicators and eliminate the redundant toolbar.
 
If keystroke shortcuts are provided, make it possible to disable them. I want all key combinations available for the guest except one to leave full screen mode. In windowed mode, all key combinations should be available to the guest,
 
Agreed. However, no other OS makes significant use of the command key; I don't think any OS would conflict if "Command-Option" whatever was used.
