I run v3 on a MacBook Pro. I also want to run on my Mac Pro. If I purchase and install on my Mac Pro, do I need to use Transporter to be able to run the same VMs on my Pro? I'm hoping I can just copy the HDD files over. What about the other files in the VM folder? Because the two physical machines are different I'm guessing that I first have to install the guest OS (WinXP) again on the Pro and just copy the HDDs over and NOT the .mem and .pvs files. Is this correct? Thanks in advance. David
Hello, first of all you should buy a new key for Parallels so you can install and use Parallels on your another Mac. After that you if you want to copy your VM to another Mac, you should go "Macintosh HD > Documents > Parallels". There you can find a folder with you Guest OS. You should just simply copy this folder to your new Mac. Best regerds, Stacey
