connect to host from guest

For some reason, I'm not able to ping/telnet/web/etc from my guest OS to my host OS. For instance, if I have a webserver running on my MacBook Pro, I'm not able to open a browser in WinXP inside of Parallels and connect to the webserver on my Mac. They both have valid IP's, and in every other respect networking works fine in WinXP. I'm able to access the webserver on the Mac from other machines, as well, so there is no firewall issue on the Mac. Has anyone else seen this problem and know of a solution?
Thanks

Which interface is your guest machine bound to? I believe that if it is bound to EN0 (onboard ethernet) then it will work, but Parallels has a bug when bound to EN1 (Airport) that is supposed to be fixed before it goes RTM.
