Control key doesn't work

Hi -

I have a new MacBook Pro. I've installed Parallels 3.0 and created a Windows XP VM. The problem is the Control key on my keyboard acts like a right-click instead of selection. This is true when I use the laptop keyboard and external keyboard hooked to the laptop. There's a popup that keeps occurring saying something like "You're attempting to attach a USB device... Do you want to do this?" If I say no, the problem continues. If I say yes, the problem is fixed but then I can no longer use my keyboard in Mac applications.

My mouse driver is Parallels Mouse Synchronization Tool. My keyboard driver is PC/AT Enhanced PS/S Keyboard (101/102-Key).

I had Parallels 2.0 installed on a older MacBook and never had this problem.

Thanks for any help.

Hello, Pat,

Please reinstall Parallels Tools via the "Actions" menu,

Best regards,
John

I just got a reply from Parallels Support o change the settings for Right Click in Preferences and that seems to work!
