convert fat32vm to ntfsvm? how?

create a new vm? ok, but how to copy my existing installed os/apps to new vm?? basically, i'd like to migrate my old vm to the new vm i just created. transporter will allow me to migrate a pc to a new vm, but as far as i can see, not an existing vm to a new vm. anyone figure out how to do this?
