copy+paste

i'm currently running a trial version of parallels and i'm reaching that stretch where i have to decide to buy or not. however I'm having problems understanding some of the features, one for instance is the clipboard synchronization tool. my understanding of the way the feature works, is that i get to copy an item (ctrl+c/option+c) and paste it inside the other OS. while doing this, i should see the item inside the clipboard list. this doesn't seem to work for me though (no matter the size of the item 2MB or 120MB).

the feature is enabled inside the parellels tool center, so i don't know what else it is that i may be doing wrong or am not understanding. Any thoughts.... anyone?

I've seen reports here that there is a size limit to the clipboard for transfer. I haven't tried anything longer than a URL, so maybe if you try something small (say start with 50 characters) it may work and you may discover the limit.
