Crash when using Windows 11 Home VM

    Good morning,

    I created a Windows 11 Home VM and I have problems with blocking when I use the VM whether it's file copying or App installations or just normal use. Can you tell me what I can do to fix this problem ?

    Hello SchL,

    Could you please explain or give examples of what you mean by "blocking" with regard to your Windows 11 virtual machine usage?

    Good morning,

    Crash, for example if I copy files, I have the % progress of the time, it crashes several times in a row and then resumes. If I do several things at the same time, copy plus app installation or when I go to Windows folders, etc.

    Thank you for your response.

    Are there specific reasons or features why you have chosen to install the Windows 11 Home edition and not the Pro edition?

    To aid in troubleshooting this issue, please follow the steps outlined below:
    1. Launch Parallels Desktop.
    2. Click on the Parallels icon in the Mac menu bar > Control Center > click on the + sign on the top right corner of Control Center
    3. Wait for the installation assistant window to come up and select "Get Windows 11 from Microsoft".
    4. On the "Download and Install Windows 11" page, click on "Choose Edition".
    5. Select "Windows 11 pro" from the dropdown and click the "Done" button.
    6. On the installation assistant window, click the "Install Windows" button.
    7. Windows will begin downloading, wait for it to finish.
    8. Parallels Desktop Installation assistant will begin installing windows, please wait for the process to complete.
    9. When the installation is complete, you will be presented with the Microsoft EULA. Click I accept to complete the process.
    10. Try to reproduce the issue.
    11. If the issue persists, please collect a technical report (Help > Send technical data > check "Attach screenshots..." > press Send Report) and send the report's 9-digit ID as a reply to this post.
