I have a suspended VM that when I try to resume it the system crashes part the way through the resume. Full Mac OS X crash and I have to power cycle the computer. Has anyone else seen this? Is there someone who wants the crash logs?
Details:
- iMac 17", 10.4.6, firmware update from bootcamp, 1.5G ram
- Windows XP SP2
- Using en0 bridged networking
- 512M ram for the VM
The panic appears to be occurring in the IONetworking part of the kernel.
I just realized that all my tests have been done in a switched user. Can someone else confirm that it is problem to do that? For instance, I just crashed the iMac again by starting up Win XP in a parallels VM and switched to another user -- immediate panic.
