I have been previously creating a virtual image from my Windows XP laptop using parallels transporter and then running it on my mac using Parallels 7.
My company is just upgraded to Windows 7 which is a locked down image so I can no longer install Transporter onto the source Windows PC to create a VM image onto an USB drive as the user is no longer Admin of the local machine

Is there any way I can run Parallels Transport off an external drive and create a VM of my Windows 7 PC (onto an external drive) without installing Transporter onto it?

Any other ideas that might resolve this problem as I'm sure I am not alone in asking this question?

    Thanks
