Cross operating system applications

Hi,

One of our customers has a MAC (not sure what version) and they are running Windows 7 inside Parallels desktop to a run a business application we write.

The application we write can export information out to Excel and herein lies my question.

The MAC has Microsoft Office for the MAC installed on it and the customer wants to use our application inside parallels, and when our application exports the information as an excel ready document, the MAC version of Excel launches and loads the information.

Is this possible?

This may need another tools that convert Ms excel to Mac excel.
