Cross Platform Cut and Paste No Longer Works

Suddenly, I can no longer cut and paste from Mac to Windows in Parallels. This feature has worked fine in the past, but suddenly, this morning, no go. Cursor just sits there unmoving.

Cut and paste within Windows and within Mac works fine. Also works from Windows to Mac, but no longer from Mac to Windows.

Also, I got a strange message this morning, saying that if I wanted to update my software, I needed to register it. Of course, I'm a registered user (and can prove it!:).

Can anyone shed light on this? Am I just imagining that I could do this before?
 
Hello,

do you have Parallels Desktop 3.0 key or Parallels Desktop 3.0 upgrade key? If so, you should register this key on our website. You have only Parallels Desktop 2.x key registered.

To overcome the issue with copy-paste you should update your Parallels Desktop to build 5584 if you use Parallels Desktop 3.0.

I've noticed this same thing, can't copy/paste from Mac to Windows. But I also noticed that Parallels always seems to tell me there is no update available. For instance, right now I'm running build 5582, and this thread says there's a 5584, but when I attempt an update I'm told there is none available.

Any fixes for this?? Not being able to copy/paste cross platform is sortof a MAJOR drag as it's one of the most fundamental reasons to buy Parallels in the first place...

U.S. Parallels build 5582, no update, same problem

I have the same problem: I can no longer cut and paste from Mac to Windows in Parallels. It's a major pain.
I have Parallels 3 installed from a CD purchased at a U.S. Apple store, updated to 5582. Build 5584 is not detected when I go to Help|Check for Updates...
How can I get build 5584, if that's the answer?
If it's not, how can I restore my ability to cut and paste from Mac to Windows in Parallels? Can I roll back a build?
