D3D Problem on Windows 7?

Hi, i'm trying to run Team Fortress 2 on Windows 7 Parallels and i have everything updated but everytime i try to launch Team Fortress 2 it says failed to create D3D Device please help i have parallels tools installed and everything should i switch to XP and try it there? By the way im new :D
