Data moved to new user account, VM gone

I moved all my data (or so I thought) to a new user account on the same machine. The parallels app runs but my VM is gone. What folder(s) do I need to move over in order to restore functionality? I'm assuming this can be done?

Steve

Update: I actually deleted the old user account. The whole system was backed up to an external FW drive, but I can't seem to get the VM running there either. Is there a data recovery utility that might be of some help? Where's time machine when I need it!!

Assuming you got your Parallels folder to the new location you now need to go into the VM folder (It's in the Parallels folder), find the .pvs file associated with your VM, and edit it with a simple text editor. There is a path statement in there that tells the system where to find the hdd file and other files needed.

In Parallels you'll need to use the File->Choose... option and browse to the new location so it can find the pvs file it uses to launch the VM.
