Debugging "unexpectedly quit" problems

Ever since upgrading to v3 (4128), I've had big problems getting the tools installer to successfully complete in XP, Parallels will just close and I get the "This application has unexpectedly quit" dialog. Is there anyway to get more information about what happened?
