The above configuration does not work. Comes up with mem=4096M problem that I have not been able to solve. Even upgraded bios to A07, still no go. Tried all kinds of settings for VM ram from 256M to 1024M. still no go.

If I go back to 2 gig ram, everything is fine, other than being slower. Suse is 32-bit install BTW.

Have a macbook pro at work and it has no problems with this and it also has 4 gig ram.

Any other suggestions? Is there an update coming up that may fix this problem?
