I have a IPWireless UMTS Ethernet modem that works via PPPoE on the Mac without problems. There is a dialer software incl. monitoring for signal strength and quality which is Win only. I had it installed and also successfully running before.
Now I wanted to use it again to check the signal but I can't get it to run anymore because it obviously does not see the modem anymore. Have tried all VM networking options (I am pretty sure - and it seems logical to me - that it worked with bridged networking ethernet) but it does not work anymore. Is it possible that this is related to a new Parallels version. Was quite some time ago I tried it last time and that was definitely an earlier Parallel's version.
