Is anyone else have problems starting PW beta 6 straight after booting OS X? At the moment, I get a message telling me that Parallels cannot access one of it's drivers. If I wait for a while and try again, it usually seems to work.

I have only seen this behaviour in beta 6. Can someone else try it and see if it can be reproduced on another machine?

    I'm using PW on a MacBook Pro 2GHz /w 1GB RAM and OS 10.4.6.

I see the same problem with my MBP.... I have found that if you wait for about 30 seconds, it works fine. i wonder what is causing the delay??

My understanding is it is one of the kernel services that just takes a while to load after your OS GUI is presented.

I don't think this is a bug just normal behavior. Until that service is loaded and running Parallels can't work. You just have to wait a little longer.
