Direct X 12 - any update on when Parallels will support it?

To clarify, Microsoft does not officially support Parallels. This lack of endorsement is evident in the absence of a virtualization layer in Parallels for Mac, specifically nested virtualization. Consequently, Windows ARM on Parallels for Mac does not facilitate the Windows Subsystem for Android. This subsystem is the mechanism that enables the execution of Android applications from the Amazon Appstore on Windows. This limitation also obstructs the alternative method of operating Google Play on Windows.

 

Effective February 16, 2023, Microsoft has authorized the Parallels Desktop solution for using Arm versions of Windows 11 on Mac with Apple Silicon.
