Disable Smart Select?

I did uninstall parallels and and disk repair permissions and also restarted my computer and the icon for word pad stil comes up in the dock it trys to call on parallels. I hope I dont have to reset each in individually. Sorry parallels but this is getting on my nerves
 
There was a global method suggested here a couple days ago. Might worth using the search engine to look for smartselect. Or use google and specify this forum server in the search.
