disable windows key

So I have a MacBook pro with Snow Leopard. have parallels 5 running windows 7. I keep windows in coherence mode. . Every time I hit the command key the windows start menu pops up. the winodws run thing pops up if I press command r. I went into parallels preferences and under keyboard and mouse I specifically turned these shortcuts off in both the windows profile and the generic profile. Why are the shortcuts still working?

Running Parallels 6 and I am having the same problem. This is very annoying. I don't know why those check boxes are there if they do not do anything.

Any word on a fix for this, Parallels? Seems no re-mapping stops the Start menu from popping up when I press the command key in Parallels 6... This bug appears to be 2+ years old. Why not resolved?
