Does Parallels verify automatic ISO/images downloads?

I was wondering if Parallels verifies downloads (via a SHA256 hash, for example) when it automatically installs Windows 11 or Linux distributions automatically, from the menu. When I click on "Get Windows 11 from Microsoft", for example, does it verify the downloaded ISO somehow? How can I be sure that the installed copy is not full of malware and is a proper, signed copy? Any hints as to what Parallels' exact behaviour is would be really useful. I see it says "Validating" when the download completes, but what does that mean exactly? Also, does it download from Parallels servers over TLS or external mirrors?

Bottom line - I would like to know if installing via the automatic buttons in the menu is as safe as downloading the ISO myself and verifying its signature/hash?

    Thanks!
