Does Parallels video driver have dual monitor support?

I am running XP within Parallels on my MacBook. I have an external display attached. I would like, when I switch to XP (in Parallels) to have he Windows experience be in both monitors. Currently, when, in XP, I click on Display Properties/ Settings, I don't see the usual check-box with "extend Windows desktop to this display". Is it possible with XP running in Parallels on my MacBook to achieve this?
