    Running off boot camp partition..

    Parallels suddenly hangs at boot

    "boot from hard drive..."

    or something similar..

I have no seen any solution for this but to likely uninstall and reinstall parallels..
Let me know if you have a solution...

My boot camp partiion boots fine natively into windows xp..

If I uninstall and reinstall parallels using the boot camp partition, am I going to have to call microsoft to validate again???

    tx..

Mine is now doing the same thing... I had an activation problem, so I reinstalled XP Pro SP2 completely using bootcamp. Now that's all fine, all my software back, installed updates, etc. All good.

Now I make a new VM setting in Parallels to run in Bootcamp, and right after the Windows logo appears, the OS Window screen goes black, and that's it. :(

    Any other ideas?

your getting further than me.. That's all I know.. I can still boot natively so I don't want to screw anything up at the moment and have to end up reinstalling xp..
