does shared networking allow IPSec to pass through?

I have internet access on my MAC and I load up Cisco VPN to connect to work. Everything works fine on my MAC side.

However, when I boot into Vista via Parallels, I can't connect to Outlook. So the question is, using Shared Networking, does Parallels allow IPSec packets to pass between each other?

VPN over shared networking works fine with the cisco vpn client here although, it has been a case sometimes, that i have had to enable the Internet Sharing on the mac to get it to work.. tho this is fairly intermittently.
