    Hi
I have waded through much info including an earlier thread here, but I am unable to figure this one out. The window is about the third of the screen and despite switching between full screen and back, the actual DOS window remains the same size, it's just that in 'full screen mode', the window is centered with a large black 'box' around it.

This is most frustrating and it is making my work - yes work, not games!

Please help an old geezer who's struggling.....

    Thanks

Austen, please provide us with more information about your problem:

    1) What is you current mode - Windowed, Fullscreen, Coherence or Modality?
    2) What command line program are you use - cmd.exe or may be another program?
    3) Whate is the guest Operating System?
    4) Ideally, you may send Problem Report (it will contain all necessary information). and post it's ID here. Open your problem app, maximize it, select Help->Problem a Report in mac menu and then Send Report report.

    Hello Sergk

Thank you for getting back to me. I'll answer your questions to the best of my ability.
(I have ditched the MS DOS VM because it was so frustrating)
I've created a new VM with Win 2K and it's exactly the same as far as sizing the window is concerned)
    So, to answer your questions:

    1. If windowed, the window itself occupies about a third of the screen. If I go to full screen (by selecting the green button - right?) the window centres on the screen at exactly the same size. The background is all black. There is no adjustment possible.

Sergk, I feel such a fool. I hadn't installed Parallels Tools on the Win 2K VM!

So, it suggests that I need to do that on the DOS program. It'll take me a little while to check it out and I'll add to this later. But we may be on the right track....

    I'll report back.

    Hello again Sergk

Well I've run up the DOS VM and I've got the same problem of a small window. There is no facility to install Parallels Tools. The option is greyed out.

I've attached a snapshot so that you can see the screen when the window is maximised.

The program I want to work with is [MPRO] and it's unworkable at this diminished size.

Can you suggest a workaround for this, please?

    Regards

    Austen Mitchell

Same problem, Parallels chat could not solve it

I am having the same problem. I have tried everything I know in Dos plus working with a customer support person. Neither of us has found anything that works. Parallels tools is installed.

Did anyone find a solution to this problem? Alt-enter changes the shape but nothing I have done brings the window up to the right size. If I change the font size to 12x20 in the properties screen it looks correct in the demo screen in that window, but it does not change on screen.

I am running a Dos program under Windows XP. This program runs fine on my intel computer both in Windows 98 and Windows XP?

    Thanks,
    Rolland
