double arrow/cursor on Mac side of Parallels

I have iMac 10.4.10 Intel with Parallels. When I switch from Windows XP back to the Mac side, I have 2 arrows/cursors. In order to make one disappear, I have to open a program from the dock, then quit it, and then one of the arrows disappears and everything operates normally.

How can I eliminate this double arrow/cursor problem?
