Downloading QuickBooks 2016 esktop Software

I know this is a very basic question, but I cannot seem to figure it out.
I have Parallels 11 for Mac and Windows 10.
I have Parallels running on mu Mac when I downloaded my QB purchase. When I clicked the download button, it automatically sent it to my Mac download folder. But when I click it, it won't run because it is an .exe file (which I know is Windows)
So, fundamentally - how do I download windows based software into the "windows environemnt" running in Parallels?
Do I need to move download file into Windows somehow? Help!

JamesS5, you may download Windows based software into the Windows environment by using the download link in Windows browser like Internet Explorer instead of a Mac Browser.

As you have have already downloaded the .exe file on the Mac side, you may move the .exe file to Windows, by enabling sharing feature and then run the setup & check how it goes.
