drag & drop: small problem

hi,

i have looked in this forum, but couldn't find a thread, so here we go:

when you copy a file from xp to my osx, there is always the right file plus a file with a "white paper" cover and it is called "myfile.file/Zone.Identifier/$DATA"

when you copy a lot it gets annoying...

what is this and is it possible to turn off?

its called a stream file and no.. you cant turn it off.. Parallels needs to update its SMB stack to work around this problem.

ah ok, thanks! too bad, i just knew from "virtual PC" that this worked well. maybe in the final version they will have it working.

but i can delete this DATA files without hard, right?
