Drivers ... where are they?

I've serieus problems after updating to 3186 (over 1970). Now I want to reinstall 1970 but I can't because the installer keeps repeating that there is a newer version and when I click ok to override it, it says 'There is nothing to install'. Very, very strange!

I think it has something to do with the drivers, but I can't find them. Where are they and can I delete them so I have a good chance to reinstall 1970?

I'm desperate; please can anybody help me?

so , in the 3186 dmg file, there is an UNINSTALL app.. run that.. uninstall 3186 then use the instalelr in the 3170 dmg to install 3170... its not rocket sicence ;)
