Dedicated ethernet interface for a VM

Hi there,

We are using an XSERVE in our company for usual services (internet / DHCP / VPN / mail / calendars / file sharing / etc...) but we still need a PC SERVER for our accounting system !

I would like to use a WINDOWS SERVER 2008 R2 Virtual Machine into PARALLELS DESKTOP 6 (which is installed on the XSERVE) as a windows server with physical PCs. Installation is OK but how to configure the network ?

In fact, how to dedicate the second ethernet card for the VM ?

The first ethernet card is used for the XSERVE network (all services).

You may try to switch it to the Bridged network mode (configure - Hardware - Network) and specify the adapter from the list. You cannot assign the network card itself as in PD you cannot assign physical resources directly to the VM.
