DVD Playback in Parallels 3120 ?

What error do you get? I get an error when trying to use WinDVD but the error relates to how WinDVD uses overlays and the current video driver in Parallels simply doesn't support such video overlays.

Am using an Nvidia plugin for Windows Media Player 11 . I get sound but no picture . I guess its down to the overlay problem ?

If I remember well, the nvidia plugin needs an nvidia card, which Parallel does not emulate. It emulates a standard VESA 2.0 card.
