DVDs open in Windows When Parallels is Running

I find when I'm running Parallels Desktop 3.0 for Mac that when I insert a DVD into the iMac DVD slot, the DVD opens in Windows.

Is there a way to control which OS will open the DVD -- depending on my needs?

Please disable "Connect at startup" in Configuration Editor - CD/DVD-Rom.
