Edubuntu, Xubuntu with LTSP server will not install

Installations of either Edubuntu or Xubuntu with an LTSP fail at the "Building LTSP Chroot" part. It gets to the 50% part, chugs away for a while, never moves and then fails. I've tried multiple versions of Parallels, tried multiple versions of *buntu (various Edgy Eft builds)

Anyone had any success with any 6.10 Edubuntu installs?
