I'm running windows vista on Parallels on my Mac OS. I've had a view minor problems. I'm also running norton anti virus. Yesterday, the norton program wanted to perform an update. it did, except for step 3 of 3, which it seems to be stuck on. Now, I get a window in parallels that shows "configuring step 3 of 3...0 %" on a windows vista startup page, for a minute, then it goes to "shutting down", windows restarts, and it goes back to the "configuring step 3 of 3.....0 %" page. It keeps repeating this cycle, even if I stop and then restart the virtual machine, and / or the MAc computer. It keeps coming back to this page and cycle. Also, I tried putting in the windows vista disc, which the Mac see's, but parallets will not re-boot from it. It can not get out of that cycle. Any thoughts from anyone?
