Entourage file associations

I have Office 2004 installed on my Mac and 2003 installed in my VM. When I try to open attachments from email (using Entourage) Parallels tries to open the appropriate application inside my VM (whether it is running or not). If I open the document from my desktop, Mac Word opens.


How can I correct this problem?
 
Hello Angryelvis,

Please try the following: drag one of these attachments to the Desktop, select it and
Ctrl click (or right click) it. Choose "Get Info" from the menu and make
sure the "Open With" section is expanded. Select the Mac program you
would like to open these files with, then click "Change all".
