Boot Camp into Windows OS works fine so no apparent problem with OS

Start Parallels Desktop
black screen goes to
Trying to boot form Primary Master IDE drive ...
Error loading operating system_

Installed just a few days ago Parallels installed without issue and Boot Camp Windows XP opened and ran without issue
Recently I got Unable to connect to Hard Disk 1.
Now I get the above error messag.

I can't find how to trouble shoot this nor do I know what caused it.
How should I proceed?
Thanks in advance

Do you have ntfs-3g installed? There is a certain issue with version 3844 of Parallels Desktop and ntfs-volume with BootCampt may be required to be unmounted manually before starting the VM

Please send a problem report using menu Help->"Report a Problem" and post here its number. The report contains necessary for investigation logs

Try to remove HDD from Vm configuration and add it again. Do not forget to check Boot device priority after adding, to make sure that you have HDD as a first boot device.
