I have Windows 7 installed under Parallels for Mac 9 on my Mac Pro (late 2013). When I connect my USB Headset to the VM I keep getting the attached error dialog saying that the Sound 1 device could not be connect ("Unable to connect Sound 1 - A file or device is required for the operation of Sound 1 does not exist or is used by another process"). I sometimes get an "Unable to connect Media Device 1" dialog. In both cases the headset and microphone appear appears in the connected sound/communication devices window and works fine.
