Hi all,
Recently I moved up from Ubuntu Feisty Fawn (v7.04) to Hardy Heron (v8.04) Alpha1 w/patches installed.
Tonight I installed Parallels Workstation 2.2 build 2112 and then ran the patch which was "stickied" in the forums as I have kernel 2.6.24 running.
When I run parallels-config it starts running, but bombs out in a short bit after I say "Y" for the EULA.
Here's what I get:
robertjm@robertjm-desktop:/usr/bin$ sudo ./parallels-config
[: 141: ==: unexpected operator
Compiling Parallels Workstation 2.2 drivers...
Can not compile and/or link drivers. Read /usr/lib/parallels/doc/INSTALL
and follow instructions specified in this document.
Compilation log is available at /usr/lib/parallels/comp.log.7964.error
I've attached the comp.log.7964.error file which was mentioned in the error warning.
Any ideas? I'd really like to get this working again.
Robert
