ESC key = Windows key

Using build 5608 on an Intel iMac w/ aluminum keyboard, running Leopard 10.5.4. Hitting the ESC key triggers the Start menu. I'd prefer it to function as normal, any ideas?
 
Are you holding CTRL key at the same time?
Also such problem may occur, if you used some keyboard software either on Mac OS or Windows, I mean settings for Esc key
 
It seems to be working fine now...I hadn't reinstalled Parallels Tools Center after upgrading Parallels to 5608, maybe that fixed it.
