Every time i try and install Parallels it gives me 'prl_client_app quit unexpectedly' error!

Hi there, i am on Monterey using a Mac Air m1 and i just cannot install Parallels - every time that error comes up:

prl_client_app quit unexpectedly

Have tried everything and nothing will work.
Help!!

Hi, could you share with us your Parallels Desktop and macOS version please?

Since macOS Monterey 12 Developer Beta has just been released recently, the Parallels Engineering team is studying changes introduced in the new OS version to tweak Parallels Desktop so you can keep using Parallels Desktop on the newly released macOS Monterey 12 and install the former in a virtual machine.
Visit this KB article http://kb.parallels.com/125506 and subscribe to get up-to-date information about Parallels Desktop compatibility with macOS Monterey 12 Developer Beta.

BTW could you collect the tech report once the issue repccurs and post the report's ID here please? Looking forward to your reply.
 
I just upgraded my MacBook Air to macOS Monterey 12.0.1 and try to install Parallels 17, but i've got the same fail as OP. When i try to install Parallels 17 it just unpacks the archive and just pop up with the fail. Is there a solution for this fail?

I have exactly the same problem. I have recently upgraded my Macbook pro to Monterey 12.0.1 and when i try to install Parallel 17, i get the prl_client_app quit unexpectedly.
