Exchange server rpc over http

I am having a problem that occurs only on parallels . Windows xp pro sp3, My outlook it set up to use rpc over http. I use this on several computers and also on my mac with entourage. In order to connect I have to enter my password multiple times, frequently 10 times. I am now also having the same problem with my dell axim. I have searched on google and microsoft and have not been able to find an answer.

Anybody have any insight to this problem?

did all the client stuff still the same problem. Registry seems to be ok, version is correct. Unistalled and reinstalled tcp/ip Don't think it is on the server because all the other computers work ok including the mac that is running parallels
 
I did this several times my registry values are just as they should be.
I cannot find where the problem is.
Any suggestions short of reinstalling XP I already tried deleting office and reinstalling.
My guess is there is something that is not getting deleted or is in the registry causing this problem but I ahve not found it yet.
 
If you have this problem with PC also, may be right way is to contact Microsoft, or post this on Microsoft forum,
I am not able to reproduce situation, even I am using Thunderbird, but I tried Entourage,and Outlook 2007 to connect to Exchange 2007, even I have NetBSD proxy, and ISA 2006 installed, I can connect without problems.
 
Problem only occurs on parallels and outlook. entourgage on Mac and outlook on windows machine both on my home network work fine with the same rpc over http settings. i posted on outlook forum for microsoft without a solution

I've been in that sort of situation, so I can commiserate. Fortunately, it's not too hard to fix if you're running Microsoft Outlook 2000 / Outlook XP.

Here are the steps you'll need to take:

1. Select Tools -> E-mail
Accounts menu option. (depending on your version of Outlook this option might be found under Tools -> Options -> Mail
Setup tab -> E-mail Accounts button)
2. The "View or change existing e-mail accounts" item should be already selected. Click "Next".
3. Select the account you want to modify and click "Change".
4. In the next screen, click "Remember password" in the "Logon Information" section in the lower left corner.
5. Then click "Next" or "OK" as necessary to confirm.


That should be all that's required for your copy of Microsoft Outlook to forevermore remember your password and let you use your new SBC Yahoo account without any fuss or hassles.

No my problem was requiring multiple entries of my password to logon and every 5-10 minutes. See the link that I included in my last post. The first registry edit fixed the problem for Outlook and the Dell Axim.
