Expanding disk not expanding?

I do believe that I've done all the necessary steps to expand my harddisk, but it's stuck at 8GB and won't grow.

Is there a step I'm missing?

So far:
1. From the Parallels Image Tool Util, increased HDD from 8 GB to 15GB
2. Restarted the OS, but it's still at 8GB, but shows an unallocated 7~GB partition in Storage MMC console.

Does this increase on it's own or what?
