Expanding Disk not expanding

Hi there, I have created a VM of 8GB which ws working fine. I tried to expand it to 20Gb which it did sucessfully, trouble is when I try to use any of the new space it tells me my drive is full. I then converted the expanding drive to fixed 20GB which it did and created a 20Gb fHDD file, but when I went to try copying more files I get the same disk full message.

I have also tried removin it as a device and readding it.

What else can I do?

I'm using the 3150 build

I had the same issue. Windows does not automatically format the extra space.

I think the problem is in the lack of explanation, it's not a bug, just a misunderstanding.
