I attached a brand new Samsung 204N external DVD writer to 2 Macs running 10.5 and XP Pro through Parallels. In each case, Windows gave me the following error message: The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable. The drive works fine under 10.5 and also on a separate Windows-only machine. So, that leads me to believe the issue lies with Parallels. Any thoughts on how to fix this? Thanks. Brad
