Extracting files from a snapshot or HDD

This morning when I tried to login to windows XP through Parallels, it wouldn't let me in. It gives me some error about not being able to connect to the domain. So now I'm left wondering how to get to all the important data that was added since the last snapshot.

Is there a way to extract the virtual HDD? Perhaps if I create a snapshot now I can extract that? Please help!
