Failed activation

New Imac with snow leopard, and new boxed parallels desktop 5 for mac. Loaded parallels, registered, but when I enter the activation key it says "this key is invalid". Checked and retyped 9 times. I can not email for help because without activation I don't have a support number, even though it says I get 180 days of free email support. (Catch 22) Anyone know a way around this to get a working activation key?

Take a pic of the box/info/cd/serial/etc and email someone in support (don't post here). I would imagine that would solve your problem. I had the same problem with Stalker: Clear Sky (they forgot to print keys for the entire first shipment of the game) and they sorted it out for me w/ this method.
 
You were right on, I was able to get through the phone support to someone and they had me email a pic of the activation key which we were then able to read correctly. Thanks.
