I was having problems installing FC5 from CDs since it would stop recognising the install CDs 1/2 way through installation so I tried to install from ISO files on a network share over NFS.

All ISOs are in a $INSTAL_DIR

    insert cd1
    use linux askmethod
    select correct languages
    choose NFS image install
    choose DHCP
enter server ip details and directory to install from ($INSTAL_DIR)

I get: "That directory could not be mounted from the server"

I know this method works since I installed RHEL4.3 to a non-apple machine (natively) this morning without problems.

Do network installations with Parallels not work?

    Help appreciated. Thanks.
